Dean Schankin opened with a raise from early position, and found a call on the button before Christophe Benzimra shoved for 26,000 more from the small blind. Schankin made the call as the button stepped aside.

The flop of missed both players before Schankin took the lead on the turn. However the on the river gave the lead and the pot back to Benzimra as he more than doubles to 98,000. Schankin is back to 423,000.

Upon double checking the structure sheet for this event, it is stated that the tournament will only stretch to a fourth day if required. So that explains why we're soldiering on this evening to try and reduce the field as much as we can. Alexis Belanger-Lebel raised from middle position, and Beth Gains shipped in her last 43,000. Belanger-Lebel called with , meaning Gains' put her in good shape to double up. At least until the flop gave Belanger-Lebel a set. The and that came next were no help, sending Gains to the rail. Belanger-Lebel is up to 256,000.
If Jaymes Rosenthal is in a hand, run far, far away. He picked up ace-king and knocked out two people at once. Rosenthal is now up to 905,000. That's more than six times the average stack and close to twice his closest competitor.
Dan Frank open-shoved for his last 23,000 from middle position and play folded around to Lei Cai in the big blind who deliberated before making the call.

With the blinds getting big and the short stacks under pressure, Cai decided to gamble and it paid off with the board. Full house for Cai jumped him to 240,000 with Frank hitting the rail.
Tim Zhou min-raised preflop, and Jeff Tebben defended his big blind. The flop fell , and Tebben checked. Zhou bet 15,000, prompting Tebben to raise to 45,000. Zhou called to see the put three to a flush on the turn. Tebben moved all in for more than 100,000, and Zhou began his super-tank. Finally, he emerged with a call, showing down for a pair and eight-high flush draw. Tebben was out in front with for top and bottom. The on the river missed Zhou's flush draw, dropping him all the way down to 56,000. After winning the enormous pot, Tebben is up to 380,000.
After a raise in the cutoff, Mark Walters moved all in for 38,000 more in the small blind. The cutoff made the call with and was racing against Walters' .
The board fell to pair Walters' king for the double up to around 90,000.
Ryan Beckwith open-shipped for 80k under the gun. He got away with it through the small blind, but then we wouldn't be writing about the hand. JD McNamara called in the big blind with . Beckwith's needed to hit, but the board missed him entirely. With the elimination, McNamara chipped up to 211k.
