Tom Dwan

Tom Dwan raised to 5,300 from the button and Bryn Kenney re-popped it to 13,200. Dwan called to see a flop. The flop came {5-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Kenney led out for 13,800. Dwan made the call. When the {A-Clubs} hit the turn, Kenney opted to check, prompting a 21,700 bet from Dwan. Kenney decided to peel one more and made the call. Kenney then moved all in for approximately 50,000 when the {7-Clubs} came on the river and Dwan quickly called with his remaining stack. Kenney showed {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} for the rivered straight and Dwan mucked his hand. Dwan traded one of his two remaining add-on chips for 50,000.

Juanda and Tran Dueling Deep Into the Night

With the blinds at 1,000/2,000, John Juanda called from the button and the flop came down {2-Clubs}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Juanda led out with a bet of 2,000 and Tran raised it to 7,000, which Juanda hesitantly called. The players checked down a turn and river of {A-Clubs} and {9-Spades} and when Tran showed his {2-Spades}{4-Clubs}, Juanda through his hand away.

On the very next deal, Tran raised to 4,500 from the button and Juanda called, bringing a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Spades}{10-Spades}. Juanda fired a bet of approximately 6,000 chips and Tran mucked. Both players are currently even in chips and both are keeping their two 50k chip add-ons in reserve, which means this battle could become a war of attrition.

Erick Lindgren moved all in for his last 30,000 and Robl made the call from the big blind. Lindgren's {A-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} was out-kicked by Robl's {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and needed help to improve.

The board ran out {Q-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{A-Spades}{K-Diamonds} and Robl's nine kicker played, sending Lindgren to the rail.

Evdakov Dominates Kabrhel and Advances to Round of 32

[user197301] • Level 10: 2,000-4,000, 0 ante

Still retaining his two 50k add-ons, Nikolay Evdakov made short work of Martin Kabrhel and advanced to the 3rd round. With the board showing {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{5-Spades}, Kabrhel and Evdakov found themselves with all the chips in the middle. Evdakov tabled the {K-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for flopped trips and his opponent quickly mucked, sending the Russian on to the next round.

Clements Flops Two Pair; Doubles Through Froehlich

Josh_Cahlik • Level 10: 2,000-4,000, 0 ante

We caught up with this hand on a board of {5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Scott Clements announced that he was all in and was quickly called by Eric Froehlich.

Clements: {Q-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}
Froehlich: {Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}

Froehlich's hopes for making a winning flush on the river were dashed when the {3-Spades} fell. This hand knocked Froehlich down to roughly 70,000

Esfandiari Table Talks His Way to the Correct Decision

[user197301] • Level 10: 2,000-4,000, 0 ante

With the board reading {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, Maxim Lykov pushed a bet of 8,200 chips into the middle. Antonio Esfandiari counted out the appropriate stack of chips to make a call and carefully studied Lykov for any hint of a read. The Russian remained cool and revealed nothing until Esfandiari suddenly asked "you bluffing me?" A slight break in Lykov's facade was all the Magician needed to make the escape and currently both players are about even in chips.
