Ivey Crippled

With approximately 85,000 in the middle on the {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} board, Phil Ivey checked and Sarkiss Osalian fired 30,000. Ivey tanked and tanked before eventually making the call. Osalian showed him the {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs} for top set and Ivey mucked his hand, getting knocked back to about 5,000 in chips.

After the hand was over, David "Doc" Sands looked at Ivey and asked him when the last time was that someone called the clock on him, referencing how long this hand took. Ivey stared blankly at him as Sands explained that he made a bet with Igor Kurganov and the over/under was two years. Ivey still stared blakly.

After some more slight prodding from Sands, Ivey looked at him and said, "Never. No one has ever called the clock on me."

The entire table burst out in laughter, but something tells us Ivey was dead serious.

Ivey Eliminated

Action folded to Ari Goott on the button and he raised to 600. Phil Ivey called from the small blind and Igor Kurganov called from the big blind. The flop came down {J-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Ivey bet 1,500 with just 2,900 behind. Kurganov raised to 3,000 and then Goott reraised to 9,000.

"Is this a rebuy?" asked Ivey. The floor man went to check and came back with the response that it was in fact a re-entry tournament. "If I'd have known that, I would've moved it all in [preflop]. I was just trying to save something," Ivey said.

Ivey then called all in for 4,400 total and Kurganov called as well.

The turn was the {8-Spades} and paired the board. Kurganov checked and Goott bet 10,000. Kurganov folded the {10-Spades}{9-Diamonds} face up. Ivey showed the {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and Goott the {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}. The river completed the board with the {5-Clubs} and Ivey was off to the cage to re-enter.
