Anton Wigg went to a war on the 
flop, but it didn't go well for the Swede. Entering the flop with around 8,000 in the middle, Wigg ended up shoving for an effective 25,325 with 
but his opponent snapped him off with 
. Wigg was in desperate need of hitting a queen or some backdoor draws but he was unable to improve on the turn and river. The massive loss saw Wigg drop down to last four big blinds or so.

With a substantial pot of about 40,000 already brewing and the complete board of 
on the table, Matt Stout bet 17,000 from the big blind into his lone opponent, Randy Ohel, who was in the cutoff. After some consideration, Ohel folded and Stout took the pot. As Stout began to stack his newly acquired chips, Ohel said he'd folded a set of eights.
