Watson Takes One

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

There were about 5,000 chips in the middle and the board read {K-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} when we got to the table. Mike Watson was in middle position and facing a decision for 2,200 from the player on his immediate right. After brief consideration, he called.

The {A-Clubs} hit the river and both players checked. Watson's opponent tabled {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} but it was no good against Watson's {K-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}.
