Lum Rockets One Out

Level 4 : 100/300, 300 ante

Bracelet winner Kathy Liebert, who has chipped up nicely early on, is taking in a massage and chatting up the table, limped from under-the-gun. The player in the next seat over raised it to 600 and it folded around to Chuck Lum on the button, who three-bet to 2,300. Liebert folded and the original raiser made the call.

Headsup on a {j-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop, the original raiser checked, and after Lum continued for 5,000, the original raiser three-bet shoved and was instantly called by Lum.

Original Raiser: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Chuck Lum: {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}

The {7-Spades} and {10-Diamonds} completed the board, sending the player to the rail and the pot to Lum.

Audley Harrison

The board read {k-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Audley Harrison had called the 1,700 bet of his opponent but lost the hand when his opponent tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for top pair with the jack-kicker. Harrison flashed an ace but with a lower kicker.

Wheeler Wins Some Back

Level 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

The board read {7-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{4-Hearts} with 4,000 in the middle.

The player in the big blind and Jason Wheeler in the hijack both checked to see the {k-Spades} complete the board. Wheeler's opponent now bet 1,200 and Wheeler raised to 4,000 without hesitating. The big blind considered his options for a while and then made the call but mucked when Wheeler tabled {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for trip kings.
