Katz Wins Two In a Row

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Andrew Kats opened from under-the-gun to 30,000 the small blind called and they went heads up to the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop.

Both players checked the flop and on the {j-Diamonds} turn the small blind led for 30,000. Katz called to see the {10-Spades} on the river and both players checked. Katz tabled {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds} and scooped the pot.

The very next hand Katz was the big blind on a board that read {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}, and with a large pot already brewed, Katz check-called a 63,000 bet.

The river was the {8-Clubs}, and Katz check-called another 87,000 bet from his opponent. His opponent mucked and he tabled {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

Van Zadelhoff Pulls Off Savage Four-Bet Shove on Flop

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Steven van Zadelhoff
Steven van Zadelhoff

Steven van Zadelhoff defended his big blind against a raise from under the gun, and the action heated up on the {6-Spades}{k-Hearts}{2-Spades} flop.

Van Zadelhoff check-raised to 102,000 and his opponent three-bet to 250,000. Van Zadelhoff announced he was all in for an effective 681,000 and the other player tanked for over three minutes. Then he studied van Zadelhoff who stayed calm and took a sip of his drink.

Another player at the table called the clock and the tank-mode ended midway through the 30-second countdown as van Zadelhoff's opponent threw his cards into the muck.

Van Zadelhoff flipped {3-Spades} and then he started to stack his new chips.

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action folded to Vivian Saliba on the button, she moved all in for roughly 92,000, Tihomir Ivanov called from the small blind and the big blind folded,

Vivian Saliba: {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}
Tihomir Ivanov: {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Saliba was in pretty rough shape pre-flop but the flop was a pretty good one, being the {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs}, giving her open-ended. The turn was the {4-Diamonds}, picking up a flush draw to go with it, but the river {3-Spades} was a brick and she was eliminated from the tournament.

Level 20 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

The action started with the under-the-gun player raising to 12,000, the cut-off raised to 26,000 and Richard Dubini called from the big blind. The under-the-gun raiser moved all-in for 267,000, the cut-off mucked fast, and Dubini went in the tank. After thinking about it for a while he made the call.

Richard Dubini: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}
Under-the-gun: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

They were off to the races and it wasn't looking good for Dubini on the {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop. The turn {6-Hearts} didn't change anything but the {10-Diamonds} fell on the river giving Dubini the pot and over 1,000,000 in chips.
