Rosavio Finds a Double

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

The under-the-gun player opened up the action with a raise to 8,000, a player called from middle position and Edgardo Rosavio moved all in for 68,000. The action folded back around to the under-the-gun, who shoved all of his stack in the middle, pushing the third player out of the pot.

Edgardo Rosavio: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Under-the-gun: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades} giving Rosavio's opponent a pair of jacks but he was still ahead with queens. The turn was the {7-Clubs} and the river was the {k-Clubs}, doubling Rosavio's chip stack.

Hodaly Takes One From Negreanu

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Daniel Negreanu opened to 8,000 under-the-gun, Edward Hodaly called from the cut-off and two more players came along.

The dealer fanned a flop of {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, the big blind checked and Negreanu fired out 14,000. Hodaly called and the other two players mucked.

The turn got checked around on the {9-Diamonds} and the river was the {j-Hearts}. Negreanu checked again and Hodaly bet 33,000.

Negreanu went in the tank and said "you know what I think you have? An eight." and eventually folded. Holday showed the {7-Spades} and mucked his other card.

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Josip Simunic bet 18,000 into the pot with the turn reading {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. He was in position against an under-the-gun player who check-called.

The river fell {5-Diamonds} and Simunic bet another 40,000, roughly a half of his remaining stack. His opponent called and Simunic mucked his hand so the other player dragged the pot without exposing his hole cards.

The action folded around to Steven Snyder in the cut-off, and he raised to 6,500. The big blind defended and they saw a flop of {9-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Spades} and both players checked.

The dealer rolled over the {6-Diamonds} on the turn, the big blind led out for 8,500 and Snyder called. The river was the {5-Hearts} and the big blind fired again for 14,000 and Snyder snap-called. The opponent showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and Snyder happily showed {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} to add to his stack.
