Ran Koller

Ran Koller faced a bet of 8,000 on a completed board of {9-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{j-Spades} with approximately 10,000 in the middle.

Koller tanked for a minute before deciding on a fold.

Koller won a bracelet earlier in this WSOP in Event #33: $800 Eight-Handed No-Limit Hold'em Deep Stack. But with that pot, he dips a little under his starting stack.

Johnny Chan dodged a bullet in a recent hand with Boris Bershadskiy.

According to the players, Bershadskiy raised to 900 in middle position and got called by Chan on the button and a player in the small blind.

The flop came {9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} and action was checked to Chan who bet 1,500. only Bershadskiy called.

The turn brought the {6-Diamonds} and again, Bershadskiy checked to Chan, who this time bet 2,500. Again, Bershadskiy called.

On the river {k-Diamonds}, Bershadskiy checked a final time but this time, but Chan didn't bite.

"I have the nuts", said Bershadskiy as he rolled over {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for the nut flush.

As Chan aided in describing the hand, he exuberantly asked to describe the river action as "and Chan checks it right back!"
