Jeremy Wien
Jeremy Wien

The action was picked up on the turn with the board showing {9-Spades}{10-Spades}{a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and the pot of already over 50,000 in chips.

Jeremy Wien bet 25,500 from the big blind leaving only about another 25,000 behind and committing his opponent to the pot with only a little over 26,000 in chips.

His opponent tanked for a while before he eventually mucked his hand and asked Wien "what did you have?" He replied with "I had a good ace and figured you had a worst one."

Adkins Fold to Jaka Costs Him $40

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Faraz Jaka and Josh Adkins built up a pot of around 70,000 heading to the river with the board showing {7-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. Jaka bet enough to put Adkins all in for around 40,000.

Adkins spent more than five minutes in the tank, rechecking his cards and playing with his chips, all while Jaka continued to stare him down. He eventually folded.

"Show me one time," Adkins said to Jaka.

"Twenty bucks a card," Jaka said, and Adkins promptly threw him a $20 bill. Jaka showed {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for the flush.

"Actually, I need that for the valet. Can I Apple Pay you?" Adkins said and he gave Jaka his phone to finish off the transaction.

Foutty Busts Shulman; Crosses 300,000

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante
Steve Foutty
Steve Foutty

Steve Foutty is pushing for the day 1b chip lead after eliminating Barry Shulman in a recent hand.

According to Foutty, a player in middle position raised to 1,600, Shulman called in late position, and Foutty then three-bet on the button to 6,600.

The original raiser folded, and Shulman called.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, and Shulman check-raised a bet from Foutty all-in for his last 44,000. Foutty said he didn't love it, but he made the call.

Barry Shulman: {3-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Steve Foutty: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}

Foutty was behind Shulman's set of threes, but had outs with his overpair and flush draw.

The turn brought no help with a random {2-}, but the river {7-Clubs} brought home the flush for Foutty, sending Shulman to the exits.
