Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Action was picked up on the river as the board read {7-Spades}{k-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Spades}{q-Hearts}. Hayden Fortini bet 2,000 into a pot of about 5,500.

Paul Volpe thought for about 20 seconds before releasing his cards and sending the modest pot over to Fortini, who has had a solid Day 1e so far.

Noori Takes Down A Pot

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Andre Akkari raised to 1,500 from the hijack and got called by Paul Dhaliwal on the button and Michael Noori in the big blind.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and the action checked through to the {a-Spades} turn, where Michael Noori led out for 2,500 and got called by both players.

The river came down the {6-Spades} and action checked through with Noori commenting "I'm going broke on the flop," while turning over {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}. Akkari chuckled and showed his {q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}, showing the table that he had the best hand on the flop, but the turn gave Noori the best hand. Dhaliwal mucked his hand and Noori took the pot.

Scott Seiver
Scott Seiver

The action was picked up with Scott Seiver in the small blind facing a bet from the player on the button. Seiver raised it up to 3,500 and was called by the player on the button.

The flop came {5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}. Seiver continued for 3,500 getting a call from his opponent.

The turn came the {j-Clubs}. Seiver took some time to consider his sizing before betting 10,000, which was called.

Seiver jammed all in for 14,600 on the {5-Spades} river. His opponent reached for three pink chips amounting to 15,000 before going into the tank.

Looking at his opponent Seiver said, "I either have a five or aces."

His opponent opted not to call and Seiver chipped up close to starting stack nearing the end of the day,

Schindler Puts Elezra All In

Level 5 : 300/600, 600 ante

Eli Elezra just took the seat to the immediate left of Jake Schindler, and the two didn't wait long before tangling in a big pot.

In a battle from the blinds, Elezra bet 2,400 on a board of {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Schindler raised to 9,000. Elezra called to see the {7-Clubs} on the river.

Schindler this time splashed in a bet of 50,000, enough to put Elezra all in. Elezra sat back in his chair with his arms folded for about a minute before sliding his cards to the dealer.

Van Fleet No More

Jon Van Fleet
Jon Van Fleet

The seat of Jon Van Fleet is no longer filled as the online poker legend has been eliminated. Brandon Bergin confirmed the departed and mentioned that "the killer" Russell Vaughn scored the knockout when his ace-king prevailed versus king-queen on a king-high board.

According to Bergin, it was the only elimination on the table since it started.
