Shalev Shows

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

The action was picked up on a board that read {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. There was about 45,000 in the pot.

Simon Shalev was on the button and moved all in over the top of his opponent's turn bet of 15,000.

His opponent, who was in the big blind, tanked for several minutes eventually let his hand go.

"Do you want me to show you?" asked Shalev before tabling {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} for top two pair.

Jean-Luc Adam has been able to build his stack and just won another small pot to further rise on the leaderboard. On the {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop, the action checked to Adam and his bet worth 3,600 won the pot uncontested.

In the meanwhile, his son Cedric Adam doubled his short stack on another table in the Amazon Purple section to remain in contention.

Mutter Eliminates One

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Brent Mutter had just lost an all-in pot against a shorter-stacked opponent when his {a-}{j-} couldn't hold against his opponent's {j-}{10-}.

That same opponent raised to 1,300 preflop shortly after. Mutter three-bet to 3,100 and action folded back around to the opponent, who went all in for 20,000. Mutter snap-called.

Opponent: {a-Hearts}{2-Hearts}
Mutter: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The board ran out {q-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Mutter's aces and eights were good enough to take the pot and eliminate his opponent.

His opponent folded and he took down the pot.

On the next hand, Hunichen opened under the gun to 1,100 and found two callers.

Both of his opponents checked on the {j-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{4-Spades} flop, and Hunichen won it with a bet of 1,200.
