Seat Open on Table #478

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

On one of the first hands of the day, a player raised pre-flop, another three-bet, and Robert Fried jammed all in. The original raiser called with {j-}{j-}, but ran into the {k-}{k-} of Fried.

The board ran out clean for Fried's pocket kings, eliminating an opponent less than 10 minutes into Day 1e.

Negreanu Wins the First Hand

Level 1 : 100/200, 200 ante

Daniel Negreanu opened the action in the first hand of the event, putting in a raise to 500 from the cutoff. Both the small and big blind called.

"Let's make sure nobody goes broke on the first hand," Negreanu said as the dealer spread the {4-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades} flop. Both blinds check-folded to Negreanu's 1,000 bet.

"Who says you can't win them all, because I can. I'm 1-0," Negreanu said as he dragged in the first pot.

"Chip leader," a tablemate said.
