Kiriopoulos Wins the Battle of the Blinds

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

The action folded around to Nicolas Dumont in the small blind who made it 17,500 to go. Demosthenes Kiriopoulos called from the big blind and the dealer spread the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}.

Dumont continued with a bet of 20,000 and Kiriopoulos called to see the {7-Clubs} on the turn. Both players checked and the {10-Diamonds} completed the board. Dumont checked again and Kiriopoulos placed a bet of 30,000. Dumont quickly mucked his cards and Kiriopoulos scooped the pot.

Campelo Doubles Through Wigg

Level 14 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

In a three-bet pot with around 130,000 in the middle already, Anton Wigg and Luis Campelo were heads-up in a pot. The flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Wigg led out with a bet of 57,000 from the big blind. Campelo called from just a couple of seats over and the {6-Spades} landed on the turn.

Wigg sized up another bet of 112,000 this time but Campelo stuck around to see the {j-Clubs} on the river. Wigg checked this time and Campelo shipped all in for 164,500. Wigg asked for a count and spent a couple of minutes in the tank before making the call. Campelo turned over {a-Spades}{j-Spades} for trip jacks and Wigg pushed his cards into the muck.

Opponent: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
