Dangoor Takes from Lancaster

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

In a three-way limped pot, the flop showed {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs} when Mike Lancaster bet from the small blind. Ian Johns let it go but Daniel Dangoor decided to raise it. Lancaster eventually called.

The turn revealed a {8-Spades} and went check-check to see a {4-Diamonds} on the river. Lancaster checked and tanked for a minute after a bet from Dangoor, before calling. Dangoor tabled {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a pair of nines and it was enough to claim the pot.

Mutter Sends Lichtie Out

Level 17 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Brent Mutter raised in the hijack and Matthew Lichtie, the short stack, three-bet next to him. It folded back to Mutter who four-bet and Lichtie called all in for his remaining chips:

Matthew Lichtie: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Brent Mutter: {k-Spades}{q-Spades}

Lichtie has some good hopes for a double up but the board ran out {5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{3-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, giving a pair of kings on the turn to Mutter and eliminating him from the tournament. Lichtie joined Glenn Cozen in the rail, who has been eliminating just a few minutes before him.
