Jason Stockfish
Jason Stockfish

Jason Stockfish raised on the button and Fabian Brandes decided to make it to 380,000 in the small blind. It came back to Stockfish who ended up calling.

All the chips went in the middle on a flop {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Brandes checked to Stockfish who potted for 795,000. Brandes responded by a shove, putting Stockfish at risk for a remaining stack around 1,000,000 and the latter snap-called:

Jason Stockfish: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}
Fabian Brandes: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

The {7-Hearts} hit the turn, giving the nut flush to Brandes and the {7-Clubs} completed the board, ending Stockfish's run in 13th place for $18,494.

Freak Board Sees Jachtmann Take Pot

Level 22 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Thomas Morrison limped from the cutoff, as did Jan-Peter Jachtmann in the small blind. Botond Barat checked his option.

The flop came {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} which produced a couple of chortles from the players at the table. Everyone checked and the turn unbelievably was the {a-Hearts} which is a 270725/1 chance of occurring, once again all of the players checked.

The {6-Hearts} landed on the river which did not encourage any betting action. Jachtmann confidently announced full house and turned over {j-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades} which neither Barat nor Morrison could beat.
