Roland Survives Against Rast

Level 15

Badugi

Mark Roland and Brian Rast both drew one on the first draw before Roland put out a bet. Rast raised, then called when Roland re-raised.

Rast took one while Roland patted and put out another bet, leaving himself about 1,500 behind. Rast called and Roland patted again. Rast drew one, but didn't get the card he was looking for and folded when Roland moved all in.

Lally Gets Massive Double Through Kay

Level 14

Pot-Limit Omaha

Jaswinder Lally and Josh Kay went heads-up to a flop of {j-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. Kay, from the big blind, checked to Lally who bet 15,000 from early position.

Kay called to see the {2-Spades} on the turn. He again checked, then Lally announced he was all in but was only allowed to make a pot-size bet of 46,500, leaving himself 8,000 behind. Kay again called.

Lally moved all in dark before the river before the dealer reminded him it was Kay's turn to act first. The {2-Hearts} fell and Kay checked, allowing Lally to move in.

Kay called and was showed {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a full house, threes full of deuces. Kay flashed {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Spades} before mucking as the defending champion doubled up near the end of the night.

Rast Gets Away From One

Level 14

Drew Scott raised to 4,500 from the hijack and a player in the small blind called before Brian Rast came along in the big blind. The flop was {j-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}.

All three players checked the flop to see {a-Hearts} on the turn. The small blind checked and Rast bet 4,000. Scott raised to 20,000 and the small blind thought it over before he got out of the way.

Rast spent a moment to consider his options before he tossed his hand in the muck to give the pot to Scott.

Gelencser Gets Max Value

Level 14

Limit Hold'em

Bracelet winner Peter Gelencser raised from early position and was called by the big blind.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Spades}, and Gelencser bet when action was checked to him. The big blind called.

The same action repeated on the {k-Diamonds} turn: the big blind checked, Gelencser bet, and his opponent called.

On the {k-Hearts} river, Gelencser bet for the third time and was again called. He turned over {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for two pair, kings and tens, and his opponent took one last look at the board before mucking.

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

Ben Yu, on the button, called a bet of 8,000 from the player in the small blind on the second draw. Both players patted on the final draw.

The small blind led out with another bet, this time for 7,000. Yu studied the situation for a moment before raising to 19,000. His opponent called, then mucked when Yu showed {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{2-Hearts} for a 7-6 low to win the pot.
