Livingston Draws Good to Take Out Bach

Level 13

Pot-Limit 2-7 Triple Draw

On the second draw, David Bach bet 12,000 before Alex Livingston splashed in a tower of purple 5,000 chips, easily covering Bach's remaining 25,000.

Bach went into the tank for a few minutes before sticking in his last chips and drawing one. "I drew really good," Livingston said, standing pat and showing {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Bach was on a draw with {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}.

Bach picked up his last card and turned over the {5-Clubs}, pairing his five and hitting the rail while Livingston dragged in the massive pot.

Five Card Draw

Action was heads up after the draw and Josh Arieh was all in for his short stack against Adam Friedman. Arieh had drawn one and Friedman tabled {a-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{10-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for aces and tens. Arieh peeled his fifth card with a look of disappointment and flashed {q-}{q-}{9-}{9-}{j-} before he tossed it in the muck and made his way for the door.

Friedman continued his steady climb towards the top of the leaderboard with the pot. The mixed game specialist is looking to set himself up with an opportunity to win a Dealer's Choice bracelet for the fourth WSOP in a row.

Crow Chops Down Clements

Level 13

2-7 Triple Draw

Isaac Crow bet 4,000 on the second draw and was called by three-time bracelet winner Scott Clements. Both players stood pat and Crow bet another 4,000, which Clements called.

Crow, thinking there was another draw, tried to bet again when the dealer didn't put the third burn card down. "That's it. We're done," Clements reminded them.

Crow showed {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a seven-low to take the pot from the 2019 champion of this event.

Friedman Sends Yoon to the Rail

Level 12

No-Limit 2-7 Single Draw

Action was heads up after the draw and Adam Friedman put out a stack of T-5,000 chips - enough to put Brian Yoon at risk for his last 15,200. Yoon called stood pat after Friedman drew one.

Brian Yoon: {9-}{8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}
Adam Friedman: {9-}{8-}{6-}{2-} / {x-}

Friedman peeled a {4-} to make the better nine-eight and Yoon gathered his things and made his way to the rail as the event nears its final break of the night.

Stud 8

Allen Kessler was nursing a short stack when he got it all in against Roger Battles and Peter Dirksen. Kessler was showing an ace and was dealt a king as Battles and Dirksen built a side pot.

"I don't even know what I have," Kessler said as he checked his hand on seventh street. He didn't even wait to see the action between Battles and Dirksen before turning his hand face down and getting up from his seat to head to the rail.

Dirksen finished with {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds} to win the pot with trip sixes. "How do I not even make a low," asked Battles as he flashed {a-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}.
