There were two all-in and calls during the second hand on the money bubble. With one elimination, the other hand was checked down on a board of {q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Spades} and Vivian Saliba nearly quadrupled up with her {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

The action with 104 players remaining will recommence at 9.50 pm local time and another four levels are scheduled for tonight.

Marji Busts to Send Everyone to Dinner on the Stone Bubble

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After Eduardo Bernal Sanchez raised under the gun, Melad Marji made it 79,000 to go in the big blind, leaving himself just over 100,000 behind.

Bernal Sanchez called and a critical pot was underway.

The flop came {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and both players checked. On the turn {7-Clubs}, Marji moved in and Bernal Sanchez happily called.

Melad Marji: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Eduardo Bernal Sanchez: {a-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs}

Marji's top pair of kings was crushed by Bernal Sanchez's full house of eights full of sevens, sending the field to dinner break on the stone bubble.

Ferrera Takes a Chunk From Onuchin

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

After defending the big blind versus the button raise by Iakov Onuchin, Keith Ferrera check-called a bet worth 45,000 on the {k-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{5-Spades} flop. He then checked again the {k-Diamonds} turn on which Onuchin fired 115,000 and received a call.

They checked the {10-Spades} on the river and Ferrera checked and Onuchin checked it back. Ferrera tabled the {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a full house and Onuchin mucked the {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} face-up.

Jachtmann Sails Away

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised to 18,000 in early position from his short stack and was met with a pot-sized three-bet from Shiva Dudani in the big blind. Jachtmann called off for his tournament life.

Jan-Peter Jachtmann: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{6-Spades}
Shiva Dudani: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The board came {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{9-Clubs} bringing no help to Jachtmann as he busts just a couple of spots from the money.

Elsewhere, Melad Marji has also been eliminated as the tournament is now just two eliminations from bursting the bubble.

Kruk Soars Above a Million

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Christopher Kruk raised to 28,000 from under the gun and was called by Austin Morin in the cutoff. Kazuhiko Yotsushika potted on the button and received two calls. On a flop of {k-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades}, it checked to Yotsushika and he bet 35,000 for his two opponents to call.

After the {q-Clubs} turn, Kruk and Morin checked again and Yotsushika made it 65,000 to go. This time, only Kruk called and the {10-Clubs} then fell on the river. Kruk bet 502,000 with some 30,000 behind and Yotsushika eventually let go.

Kruk then also won the next far smaller pot against Yotsushika when he bested naked kings with a straight on a low board. All this happend while the tournament was supposed to go on hand-for-hand mode two away from the money as some tables were playing slow.

On the {j-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} turn, Yuval Bronshtein got his shorter stack in against Aden Salazar and the following cards were revealed.

Yuval Bronshtein: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Aden Salazar: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}

Bronshtein was ahead with two pair but needed to several cards including hearts and aces. Unfortunately, he was unable to do so when the {a-Clubs} struck on the river as Salazar improved to superior two pair.

"I am coming for those now," Salazar joked towards Jeff Madsen and pointed towards his green T-25,000 chips.
