Yee Flips With Ace-King for a Quick Double Up

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

With 27,700 chips left, Kevin Yee pushed all in from early position. After some quick folds, a quick call was made as both players were heads up with Yee's tournament life on the line. Yee flipped over AK while his opponent showed JJ as both players had roughly equal odds to win the pot.

As luck would have it, Yee wouldn't have to wait long as the flop came QA3 pairing his Ace and giving him the odds to double up. A 8 on the turn and 10 on the river changed nothing, as Yee managed to over double his chip stack putting him now at 57,800 chips.

Couvette Finds Help on The River

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Three players arrived on the turn on a 57J10 board. Nick Couvette checked out of the small blind and a second player moved all in. The player on the button folded, but Couvette snap-called once back on him.

"Do you have pocket jacks?" Nick asked as he rolled over 1010 for middle set. The early position player answered "I have nine-eight" as he tabled 98 for a turned nut straight.

The dealer burned and turned the 5 on the river to give Couvette a full house and send the early position player to the rail.

Pablo Mariz In The Mix

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

The 2017 Millionaire Maker winner has taken his seat. Canada's Pablo Mariz stated that he started off with aggressive play right out of the gate bluffing off half of his stack first hand. That did not deter him as he has continued applying the pressure on his opponents and has managed to build his stack up to 45,000.
