Ramos Draws an Ace, Still Wins

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Felipe Ramos raised to 10,000 from the button and got called by Chris Brewer in the big blind leading to the draw.

Brewer drew one while Ramos opted to take two.

Brewer checked over to Ramos who squeezed his two new cards and checked behind, first showing only the A which was good enough to get a fold from Brewer as he had apparently paired one of his hole cards.

Ramos then turned over 7652 to show his completed hand before collecting the pot.

Boukai stood pat and Baker did the same after a brief moment of thought.

The Chad & Jesse Poker Show Episode #9: Japanese Vlogging Superstar Masato Yokosawa

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

On the latest The Chad & Jesse Poker Show straight from the 2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP), Chad Holloway and Jesse Fullen welcome renowned Japanese vlogger Masato Yokosawa, AKA “World Wide Yokosawa.”

While players in the United States might think folks like Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme has the biggest vlog followings in the world, that distinction actually belongs to Masato, who regularly clears 600K views on each of his vlogs!

The Japanese vlogging sensation opens up about his start in poker, what inspired him to start a vlog, and how he’s managed to turn it into a smashing success with the help of a creative team. He also talks about his desire to win a WSOP gold bracelet, how Daniel Negreanu and Phil Hellmuth are perceived in his home country, and what the future looks like for poker in Japan.

Chad and Jesse then do a new "Calling the Clock" segment in which they offer quick two-minute dialogues for topics on “The Board.”

Elezra Leaves Li Short

Level 12 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 6,000 ante

Eli Elezra raised to 13,000 from the cutoff before seeing Yingui Li put in a three-bet to 38,000 from the button.

Elezra, clearly far from done raising the action, slid out a four-bet to 103,000. Li though briefly before putting in the call, leaving himself only 45,500 in stack headed to the draw.

Elezra said, "I'm pat" as Li drew one.

Elezra stood from the table and put out a bet big enough to set Li all in then walked to the rail to have a short conversation with a friend. He came back quickly enough to watch Li peel his drawn card and toss a queen into the middle of the table, saying, "Shit!" before tossing his other four cards into the muck.

Elezra said, "You were drawing dead" before tossing his own cards in the muck and collecting the pot.
