Queens Versus Fives

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

The player under the gun raised to 500 and the early position player Michael Goetsch raised to 2,000 and received a call from the original raiser. The flop came K23 and the player under the gun checked and Goetsch bet 1,500 and received the call again.

Both players checked the turn 3 and the river J and cards were tabled. The player under the gun showed 55 and Goetsch turned over the winner QQ with the larger two pair.

A First Pot For Brammer

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

In a limped pot, five players saw the flop 54K. The blinds and a player in middle position checked to Christopher Brammer in the cutoff, who bet 300. The button folded, and the small blind was the only one to call.

The turn 8 froze the action, as both players checked. The same happened on the river Q, so he small blind revealed A5 for a pair of fives. But Brammer had 86 for a better pair.

Boyadjian Reveals the Goods

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Action was picked up on the turn with the board reading 4286 and about 4,000 in the pot. Three players in the small blind, hijack and cutoff checked before Yervand "Chris Limo" Boyadjian bet 1,500 from the button, quickly eliciting folds from all three of his opponents.

"This is the one time I'll show" Boyadjian told his tablemates, revealing J9 for a turned flush as he scooped in an early pot.
