The Day 1c has reached an astounding number of players thus far, with roughly 3,050 players taking part in the festivities today. Some tables have started to break as players continue to bust around the rooms and approximately 2650 players are still remaining. The players are going on their last 20-minute break of the night and here is a look at the highlights from the previous level:
Vanessa Selbst raised to 1,200 from middle position and got called by a player in late position before seeing Andy Bloch put in a three-bet to 4,400.
Both Selbst and the late position player called to see a 6♥4♦J♦ flop. Selbst checked as did the late position player before Bloch tossed out a bet of 7,000.
Action was back on Selbst and after about a minute, she stacked most of her chips up in a single tower and slid a 49,000 chip check-raise into the middle.
The late position player folded and Bloch entered the tank. A full three or more minutes had gone by when Selbst and Bloch started talking back and forth a bit.
"Do you have kings? No one has ever folded kings here before!" Selbst said to Bloch. "Do you have aces?" Bloch responded.
"Can I say what I have? Can I say what I don't have?" Bloch laughed.
Selbst seemed comfortable during the long tank, but eventually, Bloch stuck in the rest of his chips and Selbst, who had only left herself with around 2,000 behind, called off and did not seem happy about it.

Selbst was behind but still had a lot of outs with two cards to come but when the turn and river came the J♠ and Q♠, Selbst's Day 1 exit was made official as the dealer turned her cards face down and pushed the pot in Bloch's direction.
The player under the gun raised to 1,200 and Hiroyuki Noda in the big blind defended. The flop came J♦5♠3♦ and the player under the gun made a continuation bet of 2,300 and Noda called.
The turn was the A♣ and the player under the gun pushed the aggression button again and made a bet of 6,500. Noda made the call without hesitation.
The player under the gun gave up on the river 7♣ and Noda turned over 5♣2♠ for fourth pair and the other player mucked.
One of the chip leaders of the Silver section in Horseshoe, Luis Faria, had 220,000 chips when he found himself in middle position against the hijack on 10♠J♥2♥.
Both players checked on the flop. Then Faria bet 7,000 on the turn 6♦, and his opponent called. On the river K♥, Faria checked, and the hijack bet 8,000. After a moment of reflection, Faria made the call, but mucked his cards as his opponent showed A♥10♥.
After this hand, Faria left his table to go on a break with 198,000 chips.
On a board reading Q♦K♦4♥3♥, the small blind bet 7,700 and was reraised all in by Tihomir Ivanov from under the gun — for 25,100.
The player on the button folded and the small blind went into the tank. After a couple of minutes the clock was called, at which point he said, "Alright... I hope you have a flush draw." and pushed his chips in. It was a forlorn hope.

The river was no help, falling 7♦ and Ivanov raked in the chips.
The cards were all out 3♣7♦9♥10♦2♥ and James Clarke had moved all in on the turn for about 55,000 with 7♠7♥ and received a call from the player in the hijack. The cards of the other player were already mucked but Clarke had the set and the win.
Over at table 104, Stephen Chidwick has been winning the majority of pots he's been involved in and the latest one was no different. Chidwick raised to 1,200 preflop and the big blind defended. Chidwick bet 2,300 on the K♥7♥6♣ flop before both players checked the Q♥ on the turn.
On the K♣ river, the big blind put out a small bet of 2,200 which Chidwick called. The big blind showed 7♣4♠ but the Brit had him outkicked with A♣7♠.
Eric Bonin raised it up in middle position and Christopher Jewell three-bet on the button. The action was back on Bonin who four-bet shoved all in and Jewell called off his stack of 23,500.

It was a cold deck for Jewell who was in desperate need of two outs. The flop came K♣Q♥7♥ and the table roared as Jewell spiked a king to take the lead. The 4♥ on the turn gave Bonin a flush draw but the 4♣ bricked out on the river as Jewell doubled up.
On a turn of 3♦3♠A♣2♦, Christopher Adams was under-the-gun when he bet 5,000 into the pot of around 12,000 and was called by Justin Belforti in the hijack.
The river came the 6♠ and this time Adams decided to check to Belforti, who then fired off a big bet of 21,000. Adams did not think too long before he threw in his cards face-up, showing J♦J♣.
