Tang Shoves on Koon

Level 5 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Danny Tang and Jason Koon were heads up on a completed board of 610K8A. Tang checked to Koon, who made a bet of 20,000 chips into a pot of roughly 35,000.

Tang then jammed all in for 55,500, sending Koon into the tank. Eventually, he released his hand and forfeited the pot to his opponent.

Bradley Stays Alive

Ian Bradley was all-in from the hijack for 91,000 and called by the initial raiser in the under-the-gun position with the bigger stack.

2024 WSOP $25K Fantasy Hands of the Week: Three-Way All-In Ousts Ivey from $25,000 High Roller

The $25K Fantasy league is starting to see some separation as Team The Dinkers (Josh Kay) has opened up a nice lead of 478 points, which is a good bit ahead of both Team Sternheimer (330 points) and Team Oz (251 points). Of the 19 teams, six have failed to cross the 100-point mark, while Team Chingas (19 points) and Team Lucky (17 point) at the bottom of the pack.

Anthony Zinno was down to his final few blinds, which he tossed in preflop. He was looked up by Maurice Hawkins, who had the covering stack.

The flop brought the last ace in the deck with A910, meaning that the 7 and 3 river did not matter anymore.

"Nice hand, Maurice," Zinno commented as he took his leave.

Smith Turns The Nuts

Level 5 : Blinds 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Action was picked up on the turn in a hand between Dan Smith in the big blind and another player in the cutoff.

The board read 3754 and Smith bet 14,000 from the big blind which his opponent in the cutoff called.

On the river 3, Smith sized up to 60,000 and his opponent beat him into the pot.

Smith turned over 86 for an eight-high straight, which had his opponent flash 66 for an inferior seven-high straight as Smith raked in the pot.

Mamut Wins Gigantic Pot Against Jorstad

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

When the hand was caught, the action was already at the river, where big blind Nikolai Mamut's big stack of roughly 250,000 chips was in the middle on a board of 69A2J.

He was looked up by Espen Jorstad in the small blind, and the cards were tabled.

Jorstad had rivered a set of jacks with his JJ, but Mamut had the better hand with 87 for a turned flush. The massive pile of chips were shipped to Mamut, leaving Jorstad with around 15 big blinds.

Koon Eliminates One

Level 4 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante

Jason Koon was seen collecting a big pot while the AA was showing in front of him.

The board read 98277, his opponent had already rushed out of the tournament area and Daniel Reijmer was kind enough to relay that Koon's opponent had pocket kings.
