Oscar Alache opened to 80,000 from under the gun, then Matthew Closs to his left three-bet to 200,000. Jean Lhuillier on the button went into the tank, and eventually shoved for 980,000. Alache folded, but Closs made the call.

The flop came 4♦7♥3♥ and Vazquez was quick to check.

Parys took some time before he continued for 280,000.

Vazquez was hesitant, but eventually made the fold for Parys to take the pot.

Artem Metalidi raised 80,000 at the cutoff and received calls from a player on the button and WSOP bracelet winner Long Ma, who was in the small blind.

The player in the big blind folded and the dealer fanned 7♦10♠K♦ on the flop.

Ma checked and Metalidi bet 180,000, which drew calls from the button and Ma.

The dealer then placed 6♥ on the turn and Ma led out with 300,000. Metaldi moved all in for his remaining 1,820,000 to put himself at risk.

The button folded and Ma immediately called.

Long Ma: 8♦6♦

Metalidi’s pocket aces were ahead, but he had a lot to dodge as Ma had multiple outs to a gutshot straight draw and a diamond flush draw.

The aces held after the 4♠ appeared on the river to give Metalidi a full double up.

Action folded around to Kevin Martin in the big blind who four-bet to 400,000. Lima then five-bet all in and Martin got out of the way.
