Neves Doubles Again

Level 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Action picked up on the turn in a hand between Noel Eicher, in middle position and Pedro Neves, in the big blind.

With about 4,000,000 in the pot and the board reading 43J5, Neves checked and Eicher fired out a bet of 3,000,000.

After contemplating his decision, Neves decided to move all in for 5,900,000 total, putting himself at risk. Eicher made the call.

Pedro Neves: KJ All in
Noel Eicher: QJ

Neves needed to dodge a queen or a heart on the river to double up and stay alive. He did just that, when the 10 rolled off to complete the board.

Medes Stays Alive

Level 33 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Action picked up with Cornel Medes moving all in out of the small blind during a raised pot.

The big blind folded and the original raiser folded, leaving Jose Carlos Brito left to act. Brito asked for a count, and the dealer confirmed Medes was in for 2,250,000.

Briton then called to put Medes at risk.

The dealer fanned 10102 on the flop, keeping Brito’s ace in the lead. The 7 on the turn, however, put Medes ahead.
