The following hand, under the gun raised to 5,500. Matakis jammed, having the under the gun player covered.

"I told myself I'd call," they revealed to Matakis. However, they mucked their cards for Matakis to take the pot.

Salemnia Triples Up

The hijack opened the action with a raise to 5,500. The cutoff three-bet to 15,000 before the button moved all in for 38,500. Shawn Salemnia moved all in for 45,000 from the small blind before Daniel Rezaei called the 45,000 from the big blind.

The hijack and cutoff got out of the way and players went off to a full board with two at risk.

Roman Korenev made it 5,500 from the cutoff and Jonah Labranche then three-bet to 20,000 out of the small blind. When it got back to Korenev, he shoved all in, and Labranche called off his stack of 62,500.

On a board of 9Q78, Francis Beauregard bet 6,500 from under the gun. He was called by Kavin Shah on the button, and Joseph Cheong from the big blind.

Cheong checked to Beauregard on the A river and he bet out 16,000. This got two quick folds from his opponents and Beauregard pulled in the pot.

Both Anatoly Nikitin and Lester Edoc had seen a flop of J67 where Edoc check-called a bet of 8,000.

The J turn and 7 river were both checked and Edoc tabled A6 for a flopped pair that was counterfeited to just ace-high. Nikitin looked at his cards again before he tossed them into the muck.
