Level 3 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Aleksejs Ponakovs

A big pot formed between Aleksejs Ponakovs and Christoph Vogelsang that left the table cheering and ahhing at the end of it all.

The two players got to the river on a board of 4101052 with an array of blue 100,000-chips and green 25,000-chips already in the middle. Ponakovs bet around 540,000 with just a few chips behind and it was to force a fold from Vogelsang.

As the dealer pushed him the biggest pot of the day so far, Ponakovs tabled the 8 to bring roars from his tablemates.

"That was sick!" said Jason Koon. "Big balls. Big balls. Big champion-sized balls."
