Sinclair Folds to the Check-Raise

The action was caught on the flop with the board showing A54. A player sat in middle position had checked to Jack Sinclair on the button. Sinclair bet 1,000 into a pot of roughly 5,000 and was met by a quick raise to 4,100 from his opponent. Sinclair didn't take long before he folded and forfeited the pot to his opponent.

Fuchs Wins a Big Pot Off Gravlien

Just before the break, a big pot was brewing over on table 630 in what happened to be a four-bet pot preflop according to Ismael Bojang. The players involved were Tom Fuchs and Bjorn Gravlien, the latter of which was the four-bettor.

Fuchs called bets by Gravlien on the J44 flop and 6 turn to create a pot of more than 30,000 to the 9 river. Gravlien then checked behind and was shown the JJ for jacks full of fours by Fuchs, as he shook his head in disgust.

Arnwine Building Back

Justin Arnwine lost a couple of pots early in the day to take a hit to his stack but has since been busy building back.

Picking up the action on the flop, Arnwine in middle position was involved in a hand with a player in the big blind. With the board reading 10410 the big blind checked. Arnwine bet 1,000 and received a call.

Both players checked through the 4 turn to the 9 river at which point the big blind bet 1,400. Arnwine quickly called holding Q9, beating his opponent's 97 to the pot.

Weinman Above Starting Stack

Action picked up on the river with Daniel Weinman facing a bet of 2,000. With the board reading 46510A, Weinman thought for a moment before tossing his cards into the muck.

The defending World Series of Poker Main Event Champion is currently sitting slightly above starting stack.

Adams Leads the Turn

Brandon Adams was heads-up against a player in the cutoff on a flop of 369.

Adams check-called a 1,500 bet from his opponent and then led out for a hefty 5,100 after the 2 fell on the turn.

His opponent tanked for some time, but eventually opted to let his hand go and Adams collected the pot.

Murphy Makes "Nitty" Call

Thomas Murphy raised to 500 under the gun before the player in the hijack made it 1,800 to go. Murphy called and the flop of 562 was subsequently checked through.

Murphy then bet 2,000 chips on the 10 turn and his opponent called. On the 8 river, Murphy made a bet of 4,200.

His opponent raised to 12,000 chips. Murphy said, "It might be nitty, but I call," and showed 22 for bottom set, beating the KK of his opponent.
