2024 World Series of Poker
Renzo Monterio opened the action with a raise to 2,300 from under the gun. Romain Putz three-bet to 6,500 from early position and Philipp Fiechter flat-called the raise from the big blind. Monterio closed pre flop action with a call.
Putz continued for 9,000 on 8♥7♦2♣ and only Monterio made the call.
Action went check-check on the Q♦ turn and 10♦ river. Monterio rolled over J♦J♣ but it fell short to Putz' A♠A♣.
With 35,000 in the middle to the 10♣9♠6♥J♣ turn, Linus Richter checked and Shota Masuda bet 125,000. That covered the stack of his opponent, who went deep into the tank before folding.
Olga Iermolcheva raised to 2,300 on the button and David Collins defended his big blind.
Collins check-called a 1,000 bet from Iermolcheva on the A♥A♠5♦ flop and a 5,000 bet from Iermolcheva on the 10♠ turn.
Both players checked down on the 7♣ river and Collins groaned as he tabled A♦7♠ for a full house. Iermolcheva mucked her hand and Collins said, "Nice check back," as he collected the pot.
On a completed board of K♠5♣4♥Q♥8♦, Alexandra Botez checked and Jun Miao bet 8,600. Botez reluctantly called for nearly one third of her short stack and couldn't beat the Q♦J♦ of Miao, as she dropped to around 21 big blinds.
Heads-up on a flop of 6♣4♦9♦, Rassoul Malboubi bet 5,000 from the small blind before an opponent under the gun moved all in for 22,000. Malboubi called to put him at risk.
All-In Player: A♦Q♦
Rassoul Malboubi: K♠9♠
Malboubi was ahead with top pair, while his opponent had a flush draw to go with his overcards. The 5♥ turn was safe for Malboubi, while the 10♠ river secured him the pot and sent his opponent to the rail.
Russell Crane opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 2,200 and was called in two spots before Mykhailo Lendel three-bet to 10,000 from the button. Only Crane made the call.
The dealer put out 6♠7♠7♥ and Lendel continued for 8,000. Crane called.
The turn 3♣ rolled off and Lendel sized-up to 25,000. After a short tank, Crane mucked, preserving precious chips.
Darren Rabinowitz opened to 2,200 in middle position and in the hijack, Alex Keating three-bet to 6,400 which folded out all other player. Rabinowitz four-bet to 12,200 and Keating thought for a bit before he called.
The flop rolled out 3♠J♥J♦ and Rabinowitz continued for 3,000 which Keating called.
On the turn 6♣, Rabinowitz sized up to 5,000 and Keating called a second time.
Rabinowitz moved all in on the river Q♣ and Keating snap-called for 27,100 total.
Alex Keating: K♦J♣
Darren Rabinowitz: A♠A♦
The three jacks with a king were good to crack Rabinowitz' aces as Keating took down the pot in the battle of the bracelet winners.
