Marshall Overtakes Becker on the River

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With around 15,000 in the pot on a board of 3372, Johannes Becker bet 11,000 from early position and David Marshall called in the cutoff.

The river was the A and Becker bet another 9,500. Marshall gave it some thought before flicking in the chips to call. Becker then showed QQ, but Marshall had A9 for a rivered two pair to win the pot.
