Furth Takes Out Engel

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ari Engel limped the hijack and Bruno Furth completed from the small blind before Andrew Seabright potted to 24,000 from the big blind and both opponents called.

On the 1085 flop, Furth and Seabright checked to Engel who potted for 78,000. Furth repootted, Seabright folded, and Engel called all-in for 121,000.

Ari Engel: A652 All in
Bruno Furth: KK32

Engel held the nut low draw and third pair against the second nut low draw and overpair of Furth. Engel could not find any improvement on the J10 runout as Furth's kings held for the scoop.

Livingston Adds to His Stack

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Luis Velador raised to 18,000 from early position with Matt Livingston calling from the small blind, and Patrick Leonard defending his big blind.

Livingston led out for 35,000 on the KJ2 flop. Leonard folded, but Velador called.

The 9 appeared on the turn and Livingston bet 125,000. Velador only had roughly 150,000 remaining in his stack, and after thinking for a few moments, tossed his cards into the muck.

Deeb Forces Another Fold from Leonard

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Shaun Deeb from under the gun, Matt Livingston from middle position, and Patrick Leonard from the hijack were tangled in a single-raised pot.

On the QJ3 flop, the action checked to Leonard who potted for 71,000. Deeb called and Livingston quickly folded.

On the 10 turn, Deeb led for 80,000 effective to put Leonard at risk. Leonard would go deep in the tank once again as he reasoned his way through the hand. He put his cards face up, angled on his chips as he held a small funeral.

Leonard eventually let it go to allow himself to see another day before he revealed that he has ace-x of spade with a three.

As Deeb was having the chips sent his way, he asked, "Want to see a fun card again?" as he tabled the 10. Which made Leonard feel much better about his fold.

Catching the action on a flop of J56 in a pot between Christopher Vitch and Thomas Poole. All of Poole's 150,000 chips or so got into the middle with Vitch trying to bust him.

Thomas Poole: AAK3 All in
Christopher Vitch: AK53

Poole had aces, but Vitch had some outs he could hit to send him to the rail. The remainder of the board came Q3 and Vitch scooped the pot with two pair as neither player had a low. The pot was sent to Vitch and Poole was out.

Hausen Falls to Liberto

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tobias Hausen limped from middle position, Eric Wasserson limped the hijack, and Qiang Xu limped the cutoff. On the button, Justin Liberto potted to 42,000. Hausen called, Wasserson reluctantly folded, and Xu called.

On the Q93 flop, Hausen jammed for 12,000, Xu potted, and Liberto called all-in for 57,000.

Tobias Hausen: A332 All in
Justin Liberto: KKJ10 All in
Qiang Xu: A1099

Xu flopped middle set while Liberto had a wrap and Hausen needed divine intervention. No waiting was required for Liberto on the J turn as he made the nuts. Xu failed to fill up on the 7 river as Liberto scooped a big one and Hausen was eliminated.
