Nahid Busts on the Stone-Bubble with Aces

Level 19 : Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Kareef Nahid has the unfortunate title of bubble boy in the $500 SALUTE to Warriors event when he battled with Mitchell Tsang.

Nahid and Tsang took a flop in a raised pot when the board ran 8x9x5x. Tsang checked, and Nahid fired a bet before Tsang jammed all in to put Nahid at risk. Nahid called holding AxAx and found out the bad news as Tsang held a flopped set with 9x9x.

The turn and river bricked to send Nahid to the rail and burst the money bubble. Each player is now guaranteed at least $1,000 for their efforts.

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Action went heads-up to a flop of 3QJ in a hand between Hesham Ayoub on the button and Calvin Chen in the big blind.

With close to 150,000 in the pot, Chen bet 60,000 and Ayoub called. The 9 turn went check-check, bringing the 10 river.

Chen fired out a bet of 95,000 and Ayoub thought for a moment before mucking his hand.

Chen tabled AK for Broadway as he dragged in the pot.

Praud Doubles Through Crampton

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

As the money bubble looms, Nicolas Praud and Ian Crampton collided in an all-in hand. The hand began when Praud raised to 26,000 on the button and faced a jam from Crampton in the big blind who had him covered. Praud took time before making the call to put his 110,000 stack at risk.

Nicolas Praud: KQAll in
Ian Crampton: 1010

Praud needed to improve to stay alive, and relief came immediately as the flop fell Q96.

The 5 turn and the 4 river completed the board and awarded Praud a double up.

Takimoto Takes from Carrillo

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Yumehito Takimoto moved all in from the button for his remaining 75,000 and Carrillo jammed for 110,000.

Yumehito Takimoto: 43All in
Craig Carrillo: AJ

The players saw a 3Q9 flop, putting Takimoto ahead.

The 10 turn gave Carrillo some hope with the straight draw, but the 10 river didn't bring anything in and Takimoto doubled up, leaving Carrillo just a few big blinds to play with 10 away from the money bubble.

Boisson Digs His Heels In

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Aurelien Boisson opened the button to 25,000, before Christopher Harris three-bet to 60,000 from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way, and Boisson called.

Both players checked the 2310 flop, but when the A turn arrived, Harris led out for 30,000. Boisson called again, and the players saw a 9 river, putting a flush on board.

Harris bet again, this time for 40,000, and after giving it some thought, Boisson called. Harris flipped over QJ and was playing the board. Boisson showed 55, for a better flush than the board was offering and took down the pot.
