Wong's Set Holds

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Peter Sloman shoved his remaining 265,000, which was good for just over five big blinds, from the hijack. He was called only by small blind Danny Wong.

Peter Sloman: Q7 All in
Danny Wong: 99

"Well, I have an over!" said Sloman optimistically as the two headed off to a runout. The 396 flop had Sloman already up and out of his chaid, as Wong his top set. However, another player at the table let him know that he'd hit "the best card in the deck" when the 4 peeled off on the turn. Sloman now had a straight draw, and a flush draw, but would brick both on the 10 river, sending him home.
