Table shortstack David Hong of Team Hauptman open-shoved his remaining 435,000 from under the gun. Felix Rabas of Team Heinz then opted to shove from the button, and the blinds got out of the way.

Hong called for an ace, but the 9♥K♥7♥ flop fired his opponent into the lead. The Q♥ turn meant Hong couldn't win the pot, however the A♥ river was more than just a needle, as the board ran red and the pot was chopped.

Michael Hubbard of Team Hubbard was on the button and after a series of raises with Kyeongrim Shin, who was in the big blind, the chips went in the middle.

Hubbard had the bigger stack of around 1,300,000, but Shin had just over 1,000,000 in his stack and was looking to double up.

There were no surprises on the 5♦7♦4♦9♥J♥ runout, and Shin scooped the pot as Team Hubbard's stack took a bit hit.

Matthew Lambrecht of Team Lambrecht raised to 100,000 from the cutoff and Brent Jenkins of Team Jenkins called in the big blind.

Jenkins led out for 90,000 on the 10♣7♦5♣ flop, which Lambrecht called to the A♠ turn. Both tapped the table to see the 3♥ roll off, where again it checked around.

Jenkins showed 8♣7♣ for a pair of sevens, but Lambrecht flipped K♣K♥ for a pair of kings to win it.
