Erick Lindgren and Yosuke Miki limped in from under the gun and hijack, respectively. John Monnette called in the small blind and Michael Mizrachi checked his option in the big blind.

The A♦4♥2♠ flop checked through to the 2♦ turn. Monnette checked, prompting Mizrachi to fire out 15,000. Only Lindgren and Miki called.

Mizrachi slowed down with a check on the 5♥ river. Lindgren fired out 55,000 with Miki quickly making it 125,000. Mizrachi folded ahead of Lindgren quickly calling.

Miki tabled 5♣5♦ for a rivered full house to take the pot.

Bryce Yockey opened from middle position, Ben Lamb three-bet from the hijack and Yockey called, drawing two while Lamb took one.

After the first draw Yockey check-called a bet from Lamb and once again took two to Lamb's one. Yockey then check-called another bet from Lamb.

For the final draw both players drew one. Yockey then led out with a bet and Lamb called.

Yockey had a nine with 9x7x6x3x2x but Lamb had an eight-low with 8x7x6x5x3x to win the hand.

Eslami checked again on the 8♥ turn and Roberts bet 200,000. Eslami called. Eslami then led out for 350,000 on the K♣ river and Roberts called, only to muck as Eslami showed 9♣7♣ for a flush.

As the hand played out, the rest of the table was engaged in a discussion about variance, leading Jeremy Ausmus to reveal that his biggest downswing has been 70 buy-ins.

"I had a million-dollar downswing," Matusow told the table. "And I was playing $10ks."

"How is your biggest downswing 70 buy-ins?" an incredulous Brewer asked Ausmus.

"I had a million-dollar downswing," Matusow repeated.
