Masterson Disappointed on River

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Mengting Hu raised from late position to 1,200, and Sheila Masterson called in the big blind. The flop came out with 96J and Masterson checked, while Hu put out a continuation-bet of 1,500. Masterson called.

On the turn J, both players checked.

The river Q also brought a check from both players, and Masterson let out an "Ugh", and stated, "I have the jack".

Masterson flipped over J5 for the trips, and Hu mucked.

Nolan Catches Trips on the Flop

Level 6 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Both Stephanie Nolan and Kristen Foxen on the button checked the flop of 99A and a pot of about 4,000.

Nolan bet out 3,000 on the turn 8 which Foxen called. Nolan fired another 3,500 which Foxen called again.

Nolan tabled 93 prompting Foxen to fold.

Foxen got eliminated a few hands after.

Set on the Flop Eliminates Smith

Michele Smith, at risk, and Jenelle Exner, who went back-to-back Ladies rings at WSOP Circuit Calgary in 2024, were engaged in an all-in showdown on a completed board.

Exner, who was ahead, improved her hand further with a set on a board showing K5742. Smith picked up her bags as Exner added the chips to her stack.

In a blind versus blind situation, Michelle Dimaunahan raised to 1,200 and Hayley Hochstetler shoved for her last 12,700. Dimaunahan took a minute and called:

Hochstetler had the dominating hand but the board brought 4K738 to give a pair of threes to Dimaunahan and Hochstetler made her way to the exit.

Kyna England opened to 1,400 in middle position and got two callers in Kimeshia Swinton and Jill Pike in cutoff.

The dealer displayed 28A. All three ladies checked. On the turn K, England initiated with a 2,200 bet which the two women in the hand called.

On the river 2, England, not slowing, fired 4,500. Swinton called and Pike decided to fold.

England tabled A6 and Swinton showed A10 for a chopped pot.

Liebert on the Decline

In a heads-up pot, the board was K2910 when Kathy Liebert bet 3,000 and Debra Ivey called on the button.

The Q completed the board on the river and Liebert sent 11,000 in the middle. Ivey snap-called, showing KJ for the straight and Liebert mucked her cards.

In a blind versus blind battle, Mallu Navarro raised and Ana Marquez called to see a flop QJ9. Navarro continued for 1,200 and Marquez called.

On the 4 turn, the same action happened, this time for 3,000, and a 9 hit the river. Navarro bet 3,500 and Marquez opted to fold.
