Day 3, the penultimate day of the 2025 World Series of Poker Event #70: $1,000 Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas, kicks off at 12 p.m. today with just 50 players left.
Shiina Okamoto returns with the biggest stack and is one to watch as she is not only the defending champion, but was runner-up in 2023. Her 2023 heads-up competitor Tamar Abraham, and 2023 champion, also returns today to see if she can lock up another coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
They are in good company, as Day 3 has a star-studded field. Three-time WSOP bracelet winner and Hall of Famer Barbara Enright (565,000) returns for Day 3. Enright is no stranger to the felt, and remains the only woman to have ever made it to the final table of the WSOP Main Event.
It won't be an easy day of play today, as there is plenty of strong competition. Susan Faber (850,000), the 2019 SALUTE to the Warriors Event winner; Allyn Shulman (295,000), the 2012 Seniors No-Limit Hold'em Champion; and Jessica Marks (217,000), also has one WSOP bracelet. Not only will the ladies all be hunting for gold, but they will also be looking to secure the top prize of $184,094.

Juliet Hegedus returns second in chips, with Una Kelly a close third. Kelly saw a lucky double elimination late in Day 2, which helped her build her stack. She will be hoping to keep up the momentum in Day 3 and starts off the day in a strong position to be able to make it to the final five returning tomorrow.
Joining her in the top ten counts is Jessica Cai. Cai is no stranger to running deep in tournaments and has a massive $442,409 in reported live tournament earnings. She cashed the Ladies' event in 2024, but has already locked up more than her previous 176th place cash as the minimum payout now stands at $3,889. Joining them in the top of the counts are long-standing professionals Susan Faber and JJ Liu.

The board showed 9♥9♦A♠4♥ in a heads-up pot. Tsz Liu bet 100,000 and Lisa Fong raised it to 225,000. Liu replied by shoving, putting Fong at risk for her remaining stack worth 150,000.
After some thinking, Fong folded and Liu tabled a 9♠ for trips before grabbing the pot.
