2025 World Series of Poker
Camille Brown was in the hijack and heads-up against Clare Arroyo in the big blind.
They players were already on the Q♥K♥K♠ flop and Arroyo had bet 30,000 with Brown calling behind.
The A♠ was turned and Arroyo checked. Brown bet 40,000 and Arroyo called.
Arroyo checked the 10♥ river, and Brown bet the majority of her 129,000 stack, leaving just 10,000 behind. Arroyo asked Brown, "You have just one big blind behind?"
Arroyo took some time before mucking her hand, leaving Brown to take the pot.
Brown showed A♣A♥, for a boat with Aces full of Kings. Arroyo saw the hand and remarked, "I'm sorry I didn't pay you."
Joy Jennings moved all in from the small blind for 77,000, and Dusti Smith called from the big blind.
Joy Jennings: Q♦Q♣
Dusti Smith: 8♥8♣
The flop went safely for Jennings with 3♣4♦9♦2♦A♣, and queens were good for the win.
Juliet Hegedus raised and called the all in from Yuko Takahashi seated in the small blind with 77,000 chips left.
Takahashi held 10♦10♠ and was facing A♣K♥ in Hegedus' hands for a typical flip situation. The board went in favor of Takahashi with 2♥4♠3♠7♦8♦ and she took down the pot to double up.
Nathathai Pearson open-shoved for 107,000, holding A♦Q♥, and got called by Krista Gifford in the small blind with A♠9♠.
Person had good hopes for a double up but the board fell 7♣10♠3♠7♠K♠ to give the nut flush to Gifford and Pearson left the tournament.
Anastasija Zavorotnaja raised under the gun to 20,000 and Christal Stout shoved her last 100,000 on the button. It came back to Stout who snap-called:
Christal Stout: A♥6♥
Anastasija Zavorotnaja: A♣A♠
Stout didn't find any miracle throughout the board 8♥Q♠4♥5♠3♣ and was eliminated from the event.
Lisa Fong raised on the button to 21,000, and Yuki Takahashi called from the big blind. The flop was 7♣4♣8♥, and Takahashi checked to the raiser, who bet 17,000. Takahashi made the call.
Both players checked the turn 9♦.
On the river A♠, Takahashi checked again, and Fong bet out 17,000. Takahashi called and mucked when Fong turned over A♣J♥ for a pair of aces.
In a heads-up pot, the board read K♥J♠5♠5♣ when Manda Moore bet 45,000 and Nikki Limo called.
The 8♦ completed the board on the river and Moore sent another bet, this time for 75,000. Limo considered it for some time and ended up folding.
Moore tabled A♥K♣ before grabbing the pot and Limo said she mucked AxJx.
