There were roughly 38,000 chips in the pot on 3♣K♣10♠5♠2♠, Artur Martirosian who was in early position bet 40,000 on the river which was enough to put Luiz Hota Neto all for his tournament life.
After a few moments, Neto, who was on the button, picked up his cards and flicked them into the middle, tabling A♣10♣ for a pair and the nut flush draw. Martirosian slowly put his cards into the muck and picked up this 127 big blind pot.
Rotem Fartook raised to 900 on the button and was called by Dimitri Vorbe in the small blind and David "Bakes" Baker in the big blind.
It was checked to Fartook, who bet 1,300 on the 5♥J♣9♥ flop. Both Vorbe and Baker called.
Action checked through on the 4♦ turn and Vorbe checked again to Baker, who bet 3,200 on the 6♣ river.
Fartook called, Vorbe folded, and Baker showed Q♠J♠ for a pair of jacks. Fartook couldn't beat it and mucked — awarding the pot to Baker
Ohad Freund raised to 800 first to act and just behind him, Ryan Leng three-bet to 2,000. Action folded back round to Freund, who called.
Both players checked on the 7♠6♦8♥ flop and Freund checked again the K♠ turn. Leng announced a bet of 4,000 and Freund laid his hand down.
"I had a good hand... but I didn't want to get raised!" Leng admitted as he collected the pot.
Heads-up on a flop of K♥7♦8♠, Kevin Rabichow bet 2,000 from the button and Tiago Abreu called in middle position.
The turn was the Q♣ and Rabichow bet another 6,000. Abreu again called and the 8♣ fell on the river.
Rabichow then bet 17,000 and Abreu quickly called. Rabichow turned over K♦8♦ for a rivered full house and Abreu tossed K♠Q♠ into the muck.
Aylar Lie and Yuri Dzivielevski were heads up on a turn of 9♦5♠A♣3♦. Lie checked her option over to Dzivielevski, who put in an overbet of 12,000 into a pot of 10,000. Lie made the call, and the two went off to the river 7♣.
Here, Lie checked yet again, and Dzivielevski took a short amount of time before announcing that he was all in, covering Lie. She took a good few minutes to ponder her decision, before eventually releasing her cards.
Day 1b has just seen its 1,000th entry.
This brings the total entries for the 2025 WSOP Main Event to 1,923. Of those entries, 1,603 still have chips to play with.
Players still in the field include Kevin Rabichow, Yuri Dzivielevski, Niklas Astedt, John Hennigan, Mike Matusow and Nick Schulman.
The second level of the 2025 WSOP Main Event is complete, and players are taking their second 20-minute break.
