Sampey Spikes the River Against Becker

Kelly Becker bet 2,300 from the hijack on a flop of J♦2♣9♣ and Dustin Sampey called on the button.

Becker checked the 9♠ turn and Sampey bet 3,600. Becker called and the K♣ fell on the river. He then led out for 6,000 and Sampey quickly called.

Becker showed Q♠Q♥, but Sampey had K♦J♥ for a rivered two pair to win the pot.

Barbero Puts Pentefountas in the Blender

Gustavo Barbero raised to 600 in early position and was met with a three-bet by Ioannis Pentefountas to 2,100 on the button. Barbero called, and the two players went to a flop.

Barbero checked-called a bet of 2,800 on the A♠8♣3♠ flop, before springing a trap on the 8♥ turn.

When checked to, Pentefountas continued with a bet of 5,500, but would soon find himself in the blender as Barbero check-raised to 13,000.

Pentefountas went deep into the tank. He took his glasses off, sat back in his chair, sat forward again, and tried to engage in some conversation. All to no avail, as he continued to be at a loss for what to do.

After another minute or so had passed, Pentefountas returned his cards to the dealer, still with a suspicious look on his face.

Max Neugebauer raised to 800 in the cutoff. Christopher Farmer made a small three-bet to 1,400 on the button, which George Tatalovich called in the small blind, and Neugebauer called as well.

It checked to Farmer on the 5♠K♥5♥ flop, and he continued for 1,200. Both opponents called, and they did so too when Farmer sized up to 3,000 on the K♠ turn.

The 7♠ then fell on the river. Tatalovich checked again, but Neugebauer led out for 6,000. He received two quick folds, winning the pot without showdown.

Both players checked on the A♠7♦J♥ flop and 3♠ turn, but Shalgi led out for 1,000 after the 9♦ filled the river.

Hallaert looked him up and Shalgi turned over 9♥8♥ for a pair of nines. Hallaert tabled 10♥10♠ for a pair of tens and was awarded the pot.

Skriel Calls Down Tench

Jeffrey Tench opened to 800 from middle position and got a single call from Alan Skriel on the button.

The 10♥J♦7♣ flop saw Tench check-call Skriel's 1,100 bet.

Tench checked the A♠ turn and Skriel bet 2,300. Tench made a quick call.

A 5♦ came on the river and Tench called a 6,000 bet from Skriel.

As soon as Tench made the call, Skriel moved his cards into the muck, and Tench took the pot without any cards being shown.

Shmuel Bluff Gets Soul Read

On a board reading J♣5♦4♦ Kfir Shmuel checked his action over to Shawn Moore, who bet out for 4,500. Shmuel made the call, which brought in the 6♦ turn. Action checked through on this street, leading the dealer to put out the K♦ on the river.

Not having enough chips to size his bet properly, Shmuel placed in a single green 25,000 denomination chip, announcing "nine thousand." Moore was sent deep into the tank. After a few minutes, he looked Shmuel up and down before making the call. Shmuel, embarrassed, took a moment before flipping over 9♥9♣ for just one pair. Moore revealed that he had made an incredible call; with four diamonds on board, he held no flush, and just second pair with Q♠Q♣.

Michael Kuney who was under the gun bet 2,500, Mariano Molino who was on the button raised to 7,800.

Kuney took around two minutes before he made the fold.

Shinichiro Hatakeyama was on the button with a raise of 2,300 in front of him as Leo Margets called in the big blind.

The flop came Q♠2♠4♣ and Hatakeyama bet 2,000. Margets called to the 5♠ turn, where Hatakeyama bet another 2,000. Margets again called.

The Q♥ fell on the river and Margets led out for 5,000. Hatakeyama quickly called and Margets showed K♦Q♦ for trips, but Hatakeyama had A♠J♠ for a flush to win the pot.
