Legendre Loses Big Chip, Wins Pot

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Leonard August had opened from the hijack, and Sean Legendre had defended his big blind when the A5Q flop was spread. Legendre checked to August, who placed a continuation-bet of 600.

Legendre called and check-called the 6 turn as well, where August upped the ante to 1,300. Legendre had to ask change for his T-25,000 chip to call the bet. "The dreaded moment, breaking the big chip," he stated.

The 8 river then checked to showdown. Legendre showed A10 for top pair, and August sent his cards into the muck.

Studniarz Shoves the River on Teston

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Sylwia Studniarz made it 700 to go from the cutoff and Benjamin Teston three-bet to 2,100 from the big blind. Studniarz stuck around with a call.

The flop came down A8Q and Teston continued with a bet of 2,000. Studniarz called again.

Teston bet 4,000 on the 5 turn, and was met by a raise to 11,000 from Studniarz. This time, Teston called.

After Teston checked the 5 river, Studniarz jammed for his remaining 30,000. Teston went into the tank and began to stack up his chips like he was going to call, but in the end, decided against it and folded.

Brian Leblanc
Brian Leblanc

There was a loud celebration in the Horseshoe Blue section and when the live reporting team arrived, With some 15,000 chips in the middle to the J93Q turn, Kyle Bowker clashed with Brian Leblanc and his K10 had flopped the flush draw and turned the nut straight.

Leblanc was involved with QQ for the nut straight and the reason for his very vivid outburst was the 9 on the river which paired the board and knocked out Bowker in the second level of the day.
