Colin Beveridge got his last 150,000 in the middle from the button as Steven Rivero put in at risk from the big blind.
Colin Beveridge: Q♠Q♣
Steven Rivero: A♠A♥
Beveridge had run his queens into Rivero's aces, while the A♣K♦10♠ flop improved Rivero to a set. Beveridge was left looking to complete a straight draw, but he couldn't connect with the 7♦ turn or 3♠ river and was sent to the rail.
Marco Johnson raised to 4,000 in middle position and in the cutoff, Jonathan Wolter three-bet to 13,000. Action folded back around Johnson who contemplated his decision. Wolter called the clock on Johnson and shortly after it was called, Johnson moved all in for 181,000 which Wolter called.
Marco Johnson: Q♥Q♦
Jonathan Wolter: A♣K♣
The board ran out 3♠K♦9♠K♥10♣ and the ace-king paired up with board to send to pot to Wolter and the two-time WSOP bracelet winner exited the tournament.
Joshua Boulton raised to 4,000 in the hijack and Rahul Deevara three-bet to 13,000 in the small blind. Boulton called and the flop came A♦7♠9♣.
Deevara checked to Boulton who bet 9,000. Deevara called to the 7♦ turn, where Boulton bet 17,000. Deevara again called.
The river was the A♥ and Boulton bet 75,000, enough to put Deevara all in. Deevara tanked for nearly five minutes until folding.
"If you have kings there, I feel your pain. I was just imagining myself with kings. And you just know that bet is coming," tablemate Jacob Beck said to Deevara, sympathizing with his predicament.
The floor was called with four-way action to the A♦4♠4♣ flop when it checked to Susan Faber on the button. It was apparent that something had gone wrong with the Q♠ accidentally exposed by the dealer and that card was reshuffled back into the deck after the action was concluded.
Faber's button bet of 6,000 was check-raised to 15,500 by Yael Pilo Raz in the small blind to force out Jovan Kenjic and Eddie Szumski. On the 8♦ turn, Pilo Raz bet 25,000 for Faber to call and she then checked the 9♣ on the river. Faber bet 25,000 and Pilo Raz folded the A♣ face-up, Faber showed her A♠K♠ before claiming the pot.
"You folded queens?" Pilo Raz asked and Szumski nodded.
Nearly 50,000 was already in the middle as Amritraj Singh and Jacob Naquin saw a flop of 4♦J♦9♥. Naquin then got his last 50,000 in from the button, and Singh put him at risk in the small blind.
Jacob Naquin: 9♣9♠
Amritraj Singh: J♥J♣
Naquin turned over a set of nines, but he ran right into Singh's top set of jacks. The rest of the board ran out 3♥10♠ and Naquin fell victim to the massive cooler.
Gilad Rubinsky limped from early position, and Tabatha Hilliard raised to 3,000 from middle position. Action folded to Andreas Berggren, who called as did Rubinsky.
The flop came A♥5♥8♥, and Berggren checked to Rubinsky, who bet out for 23,000, Hilliard called, and Berggren folded.
The turn brought the 7♣, and Rubinsky continued the aggression by betting out for 47,000. Hilliard called. The river saw the K♣ peel off, and Rubinsky bet out for 82,000, and Hilliard snap-called.
"Flush" announced Rubinsky and tabled 10♥9♥. "Nice hand" came the reply from Hilliard as she flashed her A♠K♠ before dumping into the muck as Rubinsky started stacking up the monster pot that sent him over 600,000 in chips.
Roi Sabag opened to 4,000 from the hijack and it was folded to Chad Holloway, who shoved for his last 55,500 from the big blind. Sabag verified the amount before placing in a call to put Holloway at risk.
Chad Holloway: A♦A♣
Roi Sabag: K♣Q♦
Holloway was the massive favorite, and the 2♣9♣8♣4♦2♦ runout provided him with a much needed and sweat-free double-up.
"That's the bottom of my range," Holloway said. "If I had kings I would have folded!"
The action was picked up on the 6♥10♥10♦7♦ turn, where Thomas Eychenne fired a bet of 30,000 from the cutoff. Mike Matusow called in the hijack, after which Eychenne moved all in on the 3♠ river, covering the 103,000 of Matusow.
Matusow gave it some thought, but he ultimately chose to fold his hand and battle on with his remaining chips.
