An Gets Gomez to Fold

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Dustin An raised to 2,500 and Cosme Gomez called from the big blind. On the A85 flop, Gomez check-called for 1,500 and they checked the 8 on the turn. Gomez bet the 3 river for 4,100 and An raised to 12,000. Without any time to think about it, Gomez folded and flashed the 8.

Gunn Rivers Two Pair

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Hussni Alkhuzai opened to 2,100 under the gun. With action folded to the small blind, Aaron Gunn called to see a flop.

The flop dropped 610A. Gunn check-called Alkhuzai's bet of 2,500. Both checked the turn J. On the river 7, Gunn led out with 5,500 and Alkhuzai called just to throw his hand in the muck after Gun tabled J10 for a turned two pair.

Five-Bet Gets it Done

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Thomas Boivin opened up the action from under the gun with a raise to 2,300. He got very little respect, as Marwan Salamoun three-bet to 7,500 from the small blind. In between the two, Clement Kerrien then put on his sunglasses, before putting in a cold four-bet, deciding that 17,500 was the right sizing.

Boivin, however, demanded more respect, as he went for an extremely small, almost min-five-bet, to 29,000. This time, both other players respected the raise, and he picked up 25 bigs uncontested.

Haikal's Stack Goes Blum

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Donald Blum raised it up from early position and Lee Haikal stuck in a three-bet in the cutoff. The action was back on Blum who four-bet shoved all in and Haikal called off his stack of around 43,000.

Lee Haikal: QQAll in
Donald Blum: KK

The flop came K65 and Blum made a set of kings to leave Haikal drawing slim. The K on the turn improved Blum to quads and Haikal was left drawing dead to the irrelevant river.

Pinto Sends Zhang Into the Tank With Turn Shove

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Yang Zhang three-bet to 6,000 in the cutoff and Joao Pinto called in middle position.

The flop came 789 and Zhang continued for 9,200. Pinto then raised to 22,500 and Zhang called.

The turn was the 5 and Pinto moved all in for 42,000. Zhang tanked for nearly five minutes before folding, and Pinto took down the pot.

At the same table, Maxwell Sheridan has his stack of 78,500 completely encircled by an army of small frog figurines.

Full Double for Suriano

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Wayne Frisbee defended his big blind and went all the way to the AJJ76 river after which the betting action escalated against Davide Suriano. It was unfortunate for Frisbee that his 52 had hit running diamonds for a flush, as Suriano was more than happy to get his 66,600 into the middle with AA for flopped aces full.

Jacks Good for Birmingham

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

With the flop reading 210A Todd Birmingham bet out for 3,000 from under the gun and was called by Stephen Peppin in the cutoff.

The turn brought the 7 and Birmingham bet 4,000 this time, only for Peppin to raise to 10,000. Birmingham called and both players checked the Q river. Birmingham tabled JJ, which was good for the pot as Peppin mucked his cards.

Klodnicki Chips Up

Level 7 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Chris Klodnicki started the action with a 2,200 bet and got two callers in Paul Taylor on the button and Charles Beggs IV in the big blind.

The flop came 834. After a check, Klodnicki bet 2,500 pushing Taylor out of the pot. Beggs raised to 6,500 after Klodnicki called.

The turn 5 had Beggs checking. Klodnicki fired 6,000 which was enough to make Beggs fold.
