McShea Leads Twice

Kevin McShea opened to 3,500 from under the gun and called a three-bet of 9,000 from Manuel Reyes, who was in middle position.

The flop came K85 and McShea led out for 12,000. Reyes clicked it to 24,000 and McShea called.

McShea shoved for his last 29,500 after the A fell on the turn and Reyes re-checked his hole cards before sending them into the muck.

At another table, Chad Holloway has enjoyed a nice level and has built his stack from 15,000 to over 100,000.

Lastiwka Gets Prasatik to Fold an Overpair

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Hamza Firdawcy opened from under the gun to 3,000 and got caleld by Dana Prasatik in the small blind & Christopher Lastiwka in the big blind.

The trio saw a flop of 923, which checked over to Firdawcy. He fired out 2,000, then Prasatik raised to 6,000. Lastiwka then shoved covering both players, which got a quick fold from Firdawcy. Prasatik had around 27,000 remaining in her stack and after thinking it over, she flashed 1010 before she folded.

Zukowicz Chipping Down

James Gorham raised to 4,000 and it folded to Monika Zukowicz in the big blind who called.

Zukowicz led out for 3,000 on the flop 236 and after some thinking, Gorham raised it to 12,000. Zukowicz quickly folded.

James Remitio opened to 3,000 from the hijack, Matan Mesika called on the button and Sebastian Pauli defended the big blind.

The J910 flop was checked to the J turn.

Action checked around to the A river and Remito bet 3,500, which was enough to prompt two folds and allow him to take the pot.

Sanchez Gervin raised on the button to 3,500 and picked up calls from Xuejun Huang and Theo Gillis in the blinds.

The flop fell 337 and the trio checked to see a 8 on the turn. Huang checked to Gillis who bet 3,000 and only Gervin called.

The river brought the K and both checked. Gillis revealed 97 for two pair and Gervin mucked his cards.

Wang Dominates Chidwick for a Double

Stephen Chidwick opened to 3,000 in cutoff and got an all-in shove for 13,500 from Beihao Wang on the button. Chidwick called putting Wang's tournament life in jeopardy.

Wang had Chidwick dominated and kept his lead on the board of 6J5QJ. Wang secured a double up through Chidwick.

Bottelli Busts to Gundersen

Serge Bottelli moved his last 10,500 in from under the gun, and he was looked up by Kevin Gundersen a few seats over.

The flop came A107 and both players checked to see the K peel off on the turn. Negreanu led out for 10,000, and Poullet snap-folded.

Negreanu showed KxKx for a turned set and scooped some much-needed chips.
