Hall Pays Off Mariwalla

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

A pot of around 55,000 had already brewed between Patrick Hall and Rohit Mariwalla on a full board of 4Q7K6.

Hall had checked the river from the hijack and was facing a bet of 32,000 from Mariwalla, who was on the button. Several minutes passed with Hall in the tank and eventually he dropped in the call.

Mariwalla then flipped KQ for top two pair, and Hall tossed his cards away.

Lodge Takes It on the Turn

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

"Harry Lodge, WSOP bracelet winner, raises to 3,000 under the gun," tablemate Chad Holloway narrated.

"Two-time winner," Lodge corrected.

"Two bracelets? I only have one," Holloway added.

Corey Hochman and Enrique Moran came along from the blinds and they saw a flop of 10410. Action was checked through to the 3 turn, where Hochman led out for 5,500. Both opponents called.

Hochman and Moran checked the Q river, and Lodge bet 20,000 that was enough to win the pot.

"Whoever doubles me up this hand, I'll buy a $20 massage. But you have to call light," Holloway told the table as they moved on to the next hand.

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Once Kivu checked again, Moscati jammed his short stack and got it through.

Shahar Leads Into Table Leader

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Alon Shahar raised to 3,000 under the gun. Vinicius Camargo then three-bet to 9,000 in middle position, which Shahar called after it had folded back to him.

Camargo continued for another 9,000 on the 1069 flop, and Shahar check-called. The A turn prompted Shahar to lead out for 17,000.

Camargo took a final look at his cards before he gave up on the pot and tossed them into the muck.

Columbia Drills the River to Double Through Kitamura

Level 9 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Peter Columbia was already all in and at risk for approximately 25,000 from the cutoff against Asako Kitamura, who had Columbia covered from early position.

Peter Columbia: AJAll in
Asako Kitamura: AK

Columbia found himself dominated, and the AQ3 flop and 9 turn left him with one foot out the door.

However, the J river was just what Columbia needed — improving him to two pair for the dramatic double up.
