Garagnani Mucks Twice

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

From the big blind, Franciso Fernandez check-called Pedro Garagnani's pot sized bet of 3,000 on a flop of 5J2, leading them to the turn.

The turn 3 dropped, and the same thing happened with Fernandez calling Garagnani's bet of 6,300. On the river 3, both players checked.

Fernandez showed 54 for two pair with the board prompting Garagnani to muck his hand.

On the very next hand, Charles Beggs started the action on the button with a 1,700 bet. Garagnani, in the big blind, called to see the flop.

The flop dropped AKJ, and Garagnani check-called Begg's bet of 1,500. The both checked the turn 9.

Garagnani led with 2,800 on the river 6, which Beggs called. Beggs showed K9 for a turned two pair. Garagnani threw his hand to the muck pile, losing the pot two times in a row.

Kanitar Figures it Out

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Ashutosh Kanitkar raised on the button to 2,000 and met resistance in the form of a Junya Yamaguchi three-bet in the small blind. Yamaguchi had made it 7,000, and Kanitkar made the call.

On a 2JK flop, Yamaguchi continued for 7,000, and again, Kanitkar called.

Both players checked the 6 turn before Yamaguchi fired one last bet into the middle on the 2 river.

Kanitkar took a moment but ultimately decided to call. Yamaguchi showed A5, which was no good versus Kanitkar's AJ.

Two Pair Takes it for Masello

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Dustin Graves raised to 2,000 from early position and found one caller in Leandro Masello from the big blind.

Both players checked on the JQ3 flop and A turn, but Masello bet 1,900 after the 5 completed the board.

Zainullin Stays Alive

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Jorryt van Hoof opened to 2,000 from early position and Rafael Moraes three-bet to 6,500 from the next seat. Ruslan Zainullin then shoved 8,600 from the cutoff, Van Hoof folded, and Moraes called.

Ruslan Zainullin: AK All in
Rafael Moraes: AQ

Zainullin held the lead with Big Slick and took a huge leap toward winning the pot on the 2K2 flop. An A on the turn gave Moraes a few chop outs, but the 5 on the river kept Zainullin alive.

No Luck for Nold

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was followed from the J210 flop with a pot of around 10,000 when Ari Pelcovitz check-called the big blind after Adrian Lopez bet 3,500 from under the gun. Derek Nold called from early position, Hitesh Patel called the cutoff and Caitlin Comeskey also called on the button.

The Q turn prompted action to check around to Patel who bet 8,500. Comeskey folded, as did Pelcovitz. Lopez called, but Nold moved all in for his remaining 39,300.

Patel took some time before calling, and Lopez got out of the way as the players flipped their hands heads-up on the turn.

Derek Nold: K10All in
Hitesh Patel: Q8

Nold was looking at a heart flush draw and a straight draw, but sitting with a pair of tens. Patel had paired up to a queen on the turn and was ahead.

No luck came for Nold on the Q river, which only improved Patel and Nold was eliminated from the tournament in the first level of the day.
