Etayo Spikes River to Double Up

After each player had committed 16,000 before the flop, Javier Etayo checked from the small blind on the 573 flop, after which Jason Shellum bet 31,000 in the big blind.

Etayo then moved all in for 61,000 in total, and Shellum quickly called off with the covering stack

The 7 turn remained safe for Shellum's ladies, but the A river brought "Barry" to double up Etayo. Shellum paid his opponent in disbelief, seeing about half his stack move to his neighbor.

Action was picked up with cards on their backs with Amit Kaushik all in for his last 35,600 from the small blind up against Diego Serrano from the hijack with the covering stack.

Kaushik picked up a few additional outs on the 964 flop, but did not improve on the A7 runout. He exited the tournament while Serrano rose to one of the biggest stacks in the white section of Horseshoe.

Simonsen Sends Saleh Home

Players were already heads-up on the 442Q turn with a pot of around 25,000. Brandon Simonsen bet 12,000 from middle position and Steven Saleh called from late position after around a minute.

The 10 river prompted Simonsen to move in for his remaining 26,500 chips.

Saleh went into the tank and took around two minutes before moving his 26,000 stack over the line into the pot to call.

Simonsen showed 76 for the flush, which he made on the turn. Saleh threw his hand to muck but then showed he was behind with 88.

Pflock Flying North

Action was picked up with cards on their backs with Levi Berger all in and at risk for his last 71,000 from the button up against Pascal Pflock in the hijack.

The board ran out 853JQ and the aces held up for Pflock to eliminate Berger from the tournament.

Mauricio Sanchez opened to 2,200 in the cutoff and was called by Denis Charlier on the button. Eric Nathan, better known as 'BarstoolNate' shoved all in for his last 13,300 in the big blind. Sanchez folded but Charlier thought for a minute before calling.

"You took that long with nines?" Nathan shockingly asked. The board ran out 87746 and Nathan was unable to connect with the board, leaving Charlier's nines as the best hand.

"Jefffff!!" Nathan shouted as Jeff Platt was standing nearby waiting for an interview. "Now what do I do?"

Loeliger Gets the Better of Pretto

Guilherme Pretto and Paulina Loeliger were battling blind on blind, and had built a pot of 12,500 heading to the turn.

The dealer added the turn to the J92Q board, and Pretto started with a check. Loelinger placed a bet of 6,000, and Pretto called to see a river card.

The river 10 brought a backdoor flush, as well as four to a straight. Pretto checked again, and Loelinger continued her aggression, this time with a bet of 15,000.

Pretto took some time to consider, but decided to err on the side of caution, folding his hand.

Nass Eliminated by Lesitsky

Down to only 14,400, Thomas Nass moved all-in and he was looked up by Marc Lesitsky with the far bigger stack.

Chang Knocked Out by Saenz

Christina Renz raised to 12,500 chips from middle position. Roberto Saenz three-bet all in from the hijack. Soo Hyun Chang called for less with about 40,000 chips.

Renz thought about it for a minute, then folded.

Chang needed help from the runout and didn't get it, as the dealer laid out 6J32K to give Saenz a pair of kings and the win.

McCoy Leaves Frustrated

David Kuder started the action on the button with a 7,000 raise. Benjamin McCoy in the small blind shoved for around 26,200. When action went back to him, he called putting McCoy at risk and taking them to showdown.

Upon tabling the hands, McCoy stood up and picked up his things, ready to leave as watched the board get dealt. The board ran J785J. With none of his overcards hitting the board, McCoy left while muttering frustrations under his breath.

Goasdoue Goes Into Tank as Schumacher Sends It

The pot amounted to about 9,000 when Yannick Schumacher fired a huge bet of 17,500 under the gun on the 1068J turn. After some thought, Alan Goasdoue called on the button, and the 5 river was dealt.

Schumacher quickly moved all in for 41,500.

"I have a good hand to call with," Goasdoue muttered to himself as he spent some time thinking. He ended up letting his cards go, however, and Schumacher shipped the pot without showdown.
