Chen Busts Hudson

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Yuchen Chen opened from an early position. Everyone folded to David Hudson in the hijack, who went all in with around 60,000. When the action was back to Chen, he made the call, leading to a showdown.

David Hudson: 1010All in
Yuchen Chen: AJ

Chen immediately hit the ace on the A3K flop, prompting Hudson to stand up as he had no hopes of hitting anything that could help him. He was right, as the 6 turn and the 8 river didn't improve his hand, and he was sent to the rail.

Lee Survives as Turner Bluffs Into the Side Pot

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Sonny Lee had his stack of 7,000 in the middle from the big blind and had to beat three other players to survive.

On the 498 flop, all three active players checked to the J turn, where it checked to Jeremie Bilodeau, who bet 10,000. Jon Turner called on the button, and Kyle Babcock folded from the small blind.

A 10 completed the board and after Bilodeau checked, Turner fired 20,000. Bilodeau quickly folded.

"You're welcome," said Turner to Lee. "You're still here," he added before he flipped over 65 for just six-high. Lee then turned over K6 for king-high to take the pot.

Layne Can't Recover

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Chad Layne only very recently lost a portion of his stack, having run ace-king into aces preflop. This time, after some preflop betting, he found his stack all in again versus Yaichi Fukao. This time, though, it was Layne who was at risk.

Chad Layne: AK All in
Yaichi Fukao: JJ

It was a great start for Layne when the dealer spread out a 6A4 flop, moving him into the lead.

The turn flipped the two players' fortunes, though, coming the J, moving Fukao back into the lead, although giving Layne a flush draw.

The river 4 was a brick, and as Fukao dragged in the pot, Layne politely said "Well played" to his former tablemates, and headed to the exit.

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Vanessa Kade opened to 8,000 from early position and Will Kassouf three-bet to 26,000 from middle position. Michael Nelson four-bet to 57,500 from the hijack and Kade folded J9. Kassouf five-bet shoved, covering Nelson who had 127,000 behind and Nelson called, putting himself at risk.

Michael Nelson: AQ All in
Will Kassouf: AK

Nelson was dominated with a smaller ace and he failed to improve on the 949J6 runout, resulting in his elimination while Kassouf more than recouped the chips he had recently lost.

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Having defended the big blind against the button raise of Chih-Wei Fan, Dominick Santalucia then got it in after the QJ2Q turn with the 109 for a straight draw. Fan held a marginal lead with 55 but the 8 river improved Santalucia to the straight for the double worth 78,500.

Sued Doubles with Big Slick

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Kharlin Sued opened the action with a raise to 8,000 from early position, and William Fife responded with a three-bet to 21,000 from middle position. Action folded back to Sued, who quickly moved all in. Fife asked for a count, and after the dealer confirmed 67,000 total, he made the call.

Kharlin Sued: AKAll in
William Fife: AQ

Fife was dominated, but found a glimmer of hope on the paired 339 flop. That hope vanished with the K on the turn, giving Sued top two pair. The 6 river sealed it, and Sued secured a much-needed double-up to stay in the game.
