Kenny Hallaert opened to 25,000 in middle position and Eric Afriat just called in the small blind. They went heads-up to a flop of Q54 and Afriat check-called a bet of 20,000 from Hallaert.

The turn brought the A and Afriat check-called another bet of 30,000. The 5 paired the board on the river and both players tapped the table. Afriat rolled over AK which got a reaction from the table only to have Hallert flash his KK.

"How are you in this tournament?" Milan Patel asked after the hand. "Where's the rest of the pot? Eric, he's still in the tournament?!"

Bigot Continues His Run

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Donnie Peters opened to 23,000 in late position and got called by the button, Hao-Shan Huang. Fabrice Bigot in the big blind shoved all-in for about 475,000, pushing Peters out of the pot. Huang asked for a count then made a one-chip call, putting Bigot at risk and taking them to showdown.

Fabrice Bigot: 1010 All in
Hao-Shan Huang: JJ

Although behind at the start, the flop 6810 immediately propelled Bigot to the front. Huang had minimal outs to turn things around but the runout 27 didn't give him the help he needed.

Bigot scooped the much-needed double up to continue his main event tournament run.

Ilani Holds For a Big Double Off Panyak

Level 18 : Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Stephen Kehoe bet 18,000 from the cutoff on a flop of J64 and was called by Jordan Rapoport on the button and big blind Maxim Panyak. Ran Ilani then raised to 145,000 in middle position and only Kehoe and Panyak called.

The turn was the 8 and Ilani moved all in for 378,000. Kehoe quickly folded, but Panyak took a few minutes to confirm the amount before calling.

Ilani turned over AJ and told the dealer not to turn over the river card yet as he whipped out his phone to begin filming the action. Panyak had 108 for a pair and flush draw, but he missed the Q river and Ilani doubled up.

At the same table, James Pillon has built up a stack of 1,800,000. "You're giving me chip envy. Do you have me covered?" the slightly-shorter stacked tablemate Montgomery Cole joked with Pillon.
